The Trivettes Bluegrass Brothers

The Trivettes Bluegrass Brothers are a band born in 2014 in Pinerolo (near Turin, Italy) with the aim of playing the songs of famous country music artists (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, …) by revising their musical richness with folk and blues variations. In a little while, the band gets close to Bluegrass music, the most popular musical genre in the Eastern USA, and gets into its well-known pieces made notorious internationally by artists like Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Country Gentlemen and Osborne Brothers.
In May 2015, The Trivettes start playing in Italian streets and squares (Turin, Asti, Genova, Siena… ) looking for an authentic and direct relationship with the audience. But there is more: a year now the Trivettes exhibit in different contests in Turin and surroundings (Live 4 Emercency at Stranamore in Pinerolo, Swing Circus at Officine Corsare, Radio McBun, …).
In May 2016, they realize “The Trivettes Bluegrass Association”, a cultural association with the purpose of promoting Bluegrass music and the musical event relating to it.

The Trivettes Bluegrass Brothers è una band nata nel 2014 a Pinerolo, in provincia di Torino, con l’intento iniziale di suonare i classici della musica Country (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, etc.) aggiornandone le sonorità, con incursioni Folk e Blues. Ben presto i membri del gruppo si avvicinano al Bluegrass, il genere più popolare negli Stati Uniti dell’Est, recuperando brani celebri della tradizione e portati al pubblico internazionale da artisti come Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Country Gentleman e Osborne Brothers.
Nel maggio 2015 cominciano a suonare per le strade e le piazze d’Italia (Torino, Asti, Genova, Siena, etc.), ricercando un contatto il più possibile diretto con il pubblico. Ma non solo: da un anno a questa parte i TTBB si sono esibiti in diversi contesti in Torino e dintorni (Live 4 Emergeny allo Stranamore di Pinerolo, Swing Circus alle Officine Corsare, Radio McBun, etc.).
Nel giugno 2016, con l’intento di promuovere il Bluegrass e le manifestazioni musicali ad esso inerenti, nasce l’associazione culturale “The Trivettes Bluegrass Association”.
