Marco Ferretti

I was born in Genova in 1990, fully immersed in bluegrass and music in general since my early childhood. Silvio, my father, always took me along on Red Wine’s journeys through Europe and the US, and finally, at the age of nine, he taught me how to play the banjo.
I’ve been also studying music theory, classical guitar and piano. Besides TTBB and Red Wine, I play with Charlie, a singer-songwriter, and often perform in a duo with guitar player Bacci del Buono.

Nato a Genova nel 1990, mi trovo subito immerso nella musica e in particolare nel bluegrass, il mio primo amore. Vengo fin da subito scarrozzato da mio padre Silvio a sentire il gruppo Bluegrass in cui tuttora suoniamo, i Red Wine, in giro per l’Europa e gli Stati Uniti.
Più di recente ho intrapreso studi di solfeggio, pianoforte e chitarra classica e, oltre ai TTBB e ai Red wine collaboro con la cantautrice genovese Charlie e in duo col chitarrista Bacci Del Buono
